Dolpo is protected by Shey-Phoksundo National Park. It lies to the north of the Dhaulagiri Range bordering the Tibetan Plateau. The view of Kanjiroba peak, Phoksundo Lake, and the Dhaulagiri massif is one of the most rewarding moments of this trek.
